You guys know I am pretty excitable, right? Of course, you do! Well, give me a home replete with original terrazzo flooring and homeowners with great taste and I tend to get downright giddy. So, when DPI was presented with this amazing interior design project in Miami Shores, Florida, I did a little Wingnut Happy Dance (TM). Fine. It's not really trademarked but it should be, amirite? Ok. I know what you're thinking. This house is AWESOME! And you are right. So this project is mostly just adding those touches that will be sure to elevate it to its full potential. Paint, furnishings, new lighting and a new, oh so sexy, fireplace will take this house from awesome sauce to OMG.

  The Plan:

After the initial interior design consultation, my lead designer Johanna Murat and I had a really really good feel for the client's esthetic and we came up with this overall mood board. See that cementy vibe up there?  Remember the fireplace? Stay tuned.

THE FIRST STEP:

I am sure that you guys noticed those stellar terrazzo floors.  Oh, don't worry. They're staying! But first, they will need a little TLC.

DPI to the Rescue!

Look at this terrazzo deliciousness! Oh! And the Dining area will be here - and not just for Pixie.

So what choices did the clients go with? Did you see that "Part I" in the headline? You didn't think it would be that easy did you?
