So, here's the thing about design projects. They have a lot of moving parts and sometimes, just sometimes, an entire photo shoot can get held up by back ordered pieces (I'm looking at you, dining chairs). Anyhoo, at long last, this GORGEOUS project is a wrap.  And not only do we have giddy and delighted clients, but we also have the beautiful images captured by Robin Hill Photography.

For more in-depth info on the background of this project, read the previous installment first. A MIAMI SHORES HOME GETS AN INTERIOR DESIGNER TOUCH.

Read First

Ok, now that you've read that, I will start us off with an appetizer. If you recall, this project included the living area, foyer, dining and media/TV area. Also included was a guest bedroom "refresh" and a master bedroom ... let's say "ultra sexy refresh."

GUEST BEDROOM REFRESH

And here, because I am a benevolent designer, (so you don't HAVE to go back and forth) is a refresher of the guest bedroom "Before."

And here is the "After."

Robin Hill

Nothing too crazy, right? Just brighter and fresher. The clients really did not want to spend much of their budget on this room so we just updated the paint color with Benjamin Moore's Gossamer Blue, installed some simple window treatments and repurposed the client's existing artwork and furniture. New bedding, lighting and accessories and Voila! A virtually new room for not much bucks.

MASTER BEDROOM MAKEOVER

(AKA Ultra Sexy Refresh)

Remember the Master? Nice enough in its own right, sure but it was lacking that extra somethin' somethin'. Here is a before refresher:

Add a dash of drama and a pinch of sexy and you get the after...

Again we incorporated the client's existing furniture but we added pendant lighting, super sexy paint -  Black Pepper by Benjamin Moore - a new rug, window treatments, new bedding, and decor. Boom.

living / media / foyer / dining

Now we move on to the next, all-encompassing area of the main living, TV room dining, and entryway.

The "Before" Cliff's notes: (remember, for more detailed "before" project info, read  A Miami Shores Home gets an Interior Designer Touch)

Living Area Before

Living Room, Media Room and Fireplace Before.

Entryway and Dining Area Before

First, let's address that fireplace. It's cute and all sure, but the clients really wanted a statement piece and we had the perfect recipe...

The Evolution of a Fireplace

Ok, so this isn't a "real" fireplace in the traditional sense. It's an ethanol burning fireplace. Minimal heat, Maximum wow. Remember, we are in Miami so that's all good.

And now.....drumroll please...

THE BIG REVEAL!

(the crowds go wild.....)

Now, the clients are ready to entertain until the cows come home. Hmmm- maybe I should think of a different phrase since there is clearly one on the floor in the media area - but you get the idea, right?
